Family Day Traditional Chinese Costume Heritage Show at Markham Civic Centre for Chinese Heritage Month.
On Family Day, February 19, 2024, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Markham Civic Centre (101 Town Centre Boulevard), residents gathered for We Are One Family: a Traditional Chinese Costume Heritage Show marking Markham’s Chinese Heritage Month.
Markham has declared February as Chinese Heritage Month in recognition of the Chinese community’s contributions to the city’s cultural, economic, and social life. The afternoon invited families into City Hall for a public celebration of that heritage.
