Annual food bank drive with Markham Fire & Emergency Service and community partners, collecting non-perishable donations across Markham drop-off sites.
Markham Helping Hands 2025 ran from December 2025 into January 2026 as a food drive hosted with Markham Fire & Emergency Service and other community partners.
Residents were asked to donate non-perishable, unopened food items at drop-off boxes at Foodymart (5221 Highway 7), Cherish Integrated Services (1271 Denison Street, Unit 64), and Markham Santan Mandir Cultural Centre (9333 Woodbine Ave.). The drive continues an annual holiday tradition of directing food to neighbours who need it.
